We invite you to submit research abstracts for the poster presentation
exhibit that will be displayed at the 2016 Upwind Downwind Conference in
Hamilton ON, Canada, February 22, 2016.
Topics can be from domains related to air quality, climate change
and/or the anthropocene in any discipline-published
Abstracts must be
submitted using the attached application form and be no more than 400
words in length.
Abstract submission deadline: December 1st, 2015
Submissions will be reviewed by the Upwind Downwind Conference
Committee and accepted abstracts will be announced no later than January 11nd,
*Please note: PDFs of the accepted posters are due by February 1st, 2016.
Once accepted, it will be the responsibility of the author to deliver their
poster on the day of the
presentation in the appropriate format.
Poster boards are
to be 32” in width by 40” in height and be able to be displayed on the easels
provided. There will be several opportunities provided to the authors to
discuss their research with conference attendees.
Accepted posters will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
topic relevant to air quality and climate change?
Is the poster
presentation clear and well organized?
question posed by the authors well defined?
methods appropriate and well described?
Are the data
conclusion accurately convey what has been found?
be submitted electronically as attachments to the Upwind Downwind Conference
